Blended Acrylic Background

Creating a smooth, blended background with acrylic paint is not an easy task. I have worked with my backgrounds in many different ways, and have developed this technique of layering paint over the years. Hopefully, this helps, and also shows you how important layering is when it comes to painting.

Paint (for this tutorial I have use paynes grey, titanium white and burnt umber)

wide brush 

Wetting Agent (or acrylic flow release)
