How to Package Art
Nov 03, 2022Packaging art can be the most important, final step in an artist's sale. Creating the package in such a way so that the artwork remains unharmed, and that the collector receiving it enjoys opening the box, has been a focus of mine over the years.
List of Materials:
- Tape Measure
- Pen
- Boxing knife/stanley knife
- packaging tape
- scissors
- hot glue gun
- 1m metal ruler
- Stickers: "Fragile, "This Way Up" and "Top Load"
- 7mm card board (I buy mine from www.theboxman.com.au)
- Bubble wrap of 2cm - 1" foam sheet
- plastic or fabric to wrap the artwork in
